About SunPlex

Sunplex is a product from Vision Bangladesh which is an ISP providing nationwide broadband internet services. Sunplex is a media distribution portal in the form of live and VOD streaming through local networks.

Problem

Sunplex is an OTT platform over local networks only. Sunplex required solutions to following problems:

Access control by IP-checking
Live & VOD transcoding
Live+VOD streaming
IMDB+TMDB API implementation for all content
Player customization
Local data center based deployment
Customized CMS
User approval + 3rd party email integration

Solution

TiCON utilized its experience with BlessBit to produce a solution that is custom fit and tailored to SunPlex. Customized CMS was created. All transcoder and streaming engine was created keeping in mind the fact that they are going to be on bare metal servers and deployed locally. Access control was deployed and content access was restricted for additional content security.
