A system integrator (SI) connects software, cloud, devices and legacy systems into one operating platform. In-house engineering owns the same problems with a permanent staff bench. TiCON is an SI you hire when connecting those systems is the job — not when you only need extra developers inside an existing squad.
In-house teams are optimized to improve a product they already own. An SI is optimized to join systems that were not designed to talk to each other: ERP, IoT, AWS, identity, operations tools, and vendor packages.
| Choose an SI | Choose in-house |
|---|---|
| Several vendor systems must share data or identity | Architecture is stable; you are shipping product features |
| First-time cloud/ERP/IoT platform across teams | You already run the stack and need capacity, not a new operating model |
| You want a vendor accountable for the join, not extra tickets | You want full ownership of every backlog item |
TiCON has published system-integration work for Busan Metro IoT, KEPCO KDN and the G-Spider program. Cloud work sits with our AWS Partner practice.
Do not hire us as an SI if the only gap is “we cannot hire fast enough.” That is team augmentation or software outsourcing. Do not hire an SI to replace a product team you already have for a single application.
