A system integrator (SI) connects software, cloud, devices and legacy systems into one operating platform. In-house engineering owns the same problems with a permanent staff bench. What is the difference?
In-house teams are optimized to improve a product they already own. An SI is optimized to join systems that were not designed to talk to each other: ERP, IoT, AWS, identity, operations tools, and vendor packages.
