No. We develop firmware on RTOS platforms the product already uses or selects with you.

What is an RTOS?

An RTOS (real-time operating system) is a small OS used on microcontrollers when tasks must meet timing deadlines. TiCON writes RTOS application firmware as part of firmware and embedded systems work — we do not sell an RTOS product of our own.

Definition

Unlike a general-purpose OS, an RTOS schedules tasks with bounded latency. Typical work is bring-up, drivers, and application tasks on a given MCU family. Service page: firmware development.
